My email address is lledonne@ogusd.org if you need to contact me.
My name is Lisa LeDonne and I LOVE being a teacher! This is going to be my 8th year. and feel very blessed to get paid to do what I love!
I grew up in Sebastopol where I was the oldest of SIX kids. We grew up in a house where family, reading, sports, music and church were part of our everyday life. For years playing sports was at the top of that list and softball was my passion. I was lucky enough to pitch for Analy’s varsity team for four years and then for Hope International University for four more on an athletic scholarship. I also played volleyball in college where we won the National Championship for our division in 1988.
-All six kids
I always loved poetry, words and stories, especially about the past. but I didn’t love my history and English classes as a child (I had boring history and English teachers). I did know I loved reading novels about far away times, people and places. Fortunately, I had some great professors in college that helped me figure out what subjects I loved and wanted to teach!
After I took a break from school, during which time I got married and had my first son, I finished up my education at Sonoma State University where I earned a BA in history and a Social Science teaching credential.
Now it’s been 21 years since I graduated from Analy (whoa I’m getting up there), and I have my own family. I still love doing all the things with them that I did when I was little!
I have two very active, very loud, very fun sons who make my life exciting and wonderful.
Now that you know a little about me, I can not wait to get to know each and everyone of you!
Sincerely,
Ms. LeDonne
